What is Kata Camp?
Kata Camp is a hands‑on day of expert‑led katas where you learn by doing. Expect short demos followed by you performing the steps on your laptop. You can choose sessions that match your interests and skill level throughout the day.
When and where is the event?
- When: Saturday, Dec 6, 10:00–18:00
- Where: Google Campus, Warsaw
- Who: Software Engineers
- Format: Expert‑led, practical katas with real‑world AI tooling
- Notes: Non‑profit, community event; no recordings; food and coffee provided

What should I bring?
- Laptop + charger (you’ll be hands‑on all day)
- Internet access (venue Wi‑Fi provided; a mobile hotspot as backup is helpful)
- Any required accounts, subscriptions, SDKs, and API keys for the sessions you plan to attend (see per‑session “Requirements” on the agenda)
- Your preferred IDE/editor and terminal
Quick preparation checklist
- Sign in to required tools and verify access (Cursor, Claude, Lovable.dev, n8n, etc. as applicable)
- Keep LLM API keys ready (OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini, depending on session)
- Update your editor/terminal and test that everything runs
- Disable notifications and set an accessible font size for live coding
How to prepare (tools and accounts)
- Cursor IDE (trial OK): required for Implementing features with Cursor IDE and Code Refactoring in Cursor.
- Claude Pro (Claude Code Pro): required for Code with Claude: Practical AI Development Workshop and Rapid AI product delivery. Also create a free Lovable.dev account for the Rapid AI session.
- n8n.io account + LLM API key (OpenAI preferred): required for Workflow automation with LLMs and n8n.
- .NET 10 SDK: required for Code Refactoring in Cursor.
- LLM API keys (OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini): used across multiple sessions, including Spec‑Driven Development and Task Master.
- AI coding agent (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Windsurf): required for Spec‑Driven Development. Optional: Shotgun CLI (app.shotgun.sh) with an API key.
- opencode + your dev environment: required for Not Only Claude and Codex – free console agent (PL).
Tip: If you plan to switch rooms, set up these tools in advance so you can jump in quickly.
Languages during sessions
We focus on and encourage English for sessions. All presentations are planned in English.
If your session is in Polish, please let the organizers know in advance so we can communicate it clearly to attendees.
Event schedule
- Organizers will be on site from 7:30 AM; you’re welcome to arrive anytime after that
- 🚀 10:30 take‑off — workshops start
- Please arrive a bit earlier to get familiar with the space, set up your environment, and grab coffee

Transportation and parking
- Free parking is available around the Campus
- Paid underground parking costs approximately 60 PLN/day
- Public transport is convenient to the venue

Can I join other sessions?
Yes. All sessions are open to attendees. We encourage you to join and interact with the community.
Safety and conduct
Campus security will be with us throughout the event to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
In the event of any form of harassment or safety concern, please report it immediately to organizers or security.
